𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗧𝗮𝘅 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿
Between job sites, crews, retainage, and cash flow swings, tax deadlines will sneak up on you. Here are the 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝘁𝗮𝘅 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 every construction business owner should plan for now.
📅 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
🔹 Final 2025 estimated tax payment due (common for contractors with uneven income).
📅 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
🔹 Deadline for 1099s to vendors, W2s to employees, and file payroll tax returns
📅 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
🔹 S-Corps, Partnerships and multi-member LLC returns due, unless extended
📅 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
🔹 Individual returns due (Form 1040), unless extended
🔹 Last day to:
• Fund 2025 IRA / HSA
• Pay 2025 taxes to avoid penalties
⚠️Extensions give you time to file — not time to pay.
📅 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – Q2 estimate due
📅 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
🔹 Extended deadline to file: S-Corps (1120-S), Partnerships (1065), Multi-member LLCs (if extended)
🔹 Q3 estimate due
📅 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
🔹 Extended deadline to file: Individuals (1040) and C-Corps (1120) (if extended)
⚠️Cash flow timing matters in construction. Missing estimates = penalties + interest.
🛠️ 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀:
• Plan estimates around 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀, not calendar months
• If you’re a contractor and taxes feel reactive instead of strategic, it’s time to get ahead of the calendar: https://accountingsolutionsllp.com/appointment
